Si firmava "Oncle Bernard" (Zio Bernard) ed era consigliere della Banca di Francia. Keynesiano convinto, era molto critico con l'austerità europea e proponeva una cancellazione di una parte del debito
Non solo vignettisti.
Non solo presunti nemici dell’Islam, ma anche un economista di valore, giornalista e umorista, uomo poliedrico capace di rientrare nella categoria dell’altermondialismo e, allo stesso tempo, di sedere nel Consiglio generale della Banca di Francia.
Bernard Maris, Oncle Bernard (zio Bernard), come si firmava su Charlie Hebdo, economista nato nel 1946 a Tolosa, è tra le dodici vittime dell’attacco mortale al settimanale francese.
Una morte che sa di beffa perché Maris è di quelli che non ha esitato a inchiodare l’economia occidentale, ed europea, alle proprie responsabilità.
Estimatore di John Maynard Keynes, a cui ha dedicato uno dei suoi libri, candidato al Parlamento dai Verdi, Oncle Bernard ha sempre avuto una spiccata sensibilità di sinistra. Che lo ha portato a divenire membro del consiglio scientifico di una delle associazioni che hanno dato vita al movimento anti-globalizzazione, Attac France.
Ma, oltre a un impegno politico e civile, ha frequentato anche l’accademia e l’economia ufficiale.
Era associato in scienze economiche e professore all’Istituto di studi europei dell’Université Paris VIII.
E, in virtù di queste qualità oltre che di un’evidente volontà di contrappeso politico, nel 2011 viene nominato dal presidente del Senato di allora, il socialista Jean-Pierre Bel, nel consiglio economico della Banca di Francia.
A lui si è riferito il governatore francese, Christian Noyer, nel condannare ieri l’attacco definito “un atto codardo e barbaro contro la libertà di stampa e quelli che la difendono”. Persone di grandi ideali, “tra le quali il nostro amico e collega Bernard Maris, un uomo di cuore, di cultura e di una grande tolleranza.
Ci mancherà tanto”.
Tra i suoi scritti si ritrovano testi dai titoli non convenzionali come Ah Dieu! que la guerre économique est jolie !, (“Dio, quanto è bella la guerra economica”) oppure Lettre ouverte aux gourous de l’économie qui nous prennent pour des imbéciles (“Lettera aperta ai guru dell’economia che ci prendono per imbecilli”) ma anche Marx, ô Marx, pourquoi m’as-tu abandonné ? (“Marx, o Marx, perché mi hai abbandonato?”).
Tra le sue proposte non convenzionali per risolvere la crisi economica ne spiccano due: il default del debito pubblico perché “tutti i Paesi europei – come ha scritto – dovranno, prima o poi, rassegnarsi a cancellare una parte del debito.
Occorre rinegoziare la parte che supera il 60% del Pil”.
Maris era però anche fautore del “reddito minimo di esistenza” un “reddito da elargire a ciascun essere umano, ricco o povero, da conservare per tutta la vita e cumulare con qualsiasi altro reddito o patrimonio”.
Un modo per sganciarsi dal lavoro in una società che il lavoro non lo garantisce più.
Nel numero di Charlie Hebdo uscito il 7 gennaio, Maris si è distinto anche per una recensione positiva dell’ultimo libro di Michel Houellebecq, Sottomissione, attorno al quale le polemiche non sono mancate e non mancheranno anche in relazione all’attentato di ieri.
Al romanziere francese, Maris aveva già dedicato un libro Houellebecq economista, i cui romanzi hanno una “intelligenza del mondo contemporaneo impregnata di economia”. “Così come, leggendo Kafka, scrive Maris, comprenderete che il vostro mondo è una prigione e, leggendo Orwell, che il cibo che si serve a tavola è una bugia, leggendo questo aspetto economico di Michel Houellebecq saprete che la colla che frena i vostri passi, vi rammollisce, vi impedisce di muovervi e vi rende così tristi e così tristemente patetici, è di natura economica”.

Vi ricordate in Boston alla maratona, l'11 settembre, la scuola di Sandy Hook, e in Italia la bomba davanti al palazzo Chigi, per dire qualche esempio.
Non volete mica credere che siano stati i terroristi musulmani a compiere la sparatoria?
Nel video si vedono più indizi che indicano la messa in scena.
Il fumo che si nota al momento dello sparo che si capisce che si tratta di sparo a salve.
